Please don’t be put off by the level of information we ask for on the application form – this helps us understand more about your organisation and how you work with the local community so that we can confirm if you are eligible to receive free advice.

What do we mean by Arts Organisation?

Our definition of Arts Organisation is broad.                  Small arts organisations, arts community groups qualify to receive legal help under the LVFA scheme.

If “you” are more than one person and you are a non-profit or work with the community on arts or cultural projects, you may qualify for help on a range of legal issues.

Our Application Process


Fill out the LVFA Referral Form and send it to us at enquiries@lvfa.org.uk

Please fill the form out entirely, submitting all the documents requested. Our coordinator will assess whether you are eligible to receive legal advice under the LVFA scheme. if your query is time-sensitive, please let us know and we will see what we can do for you.

Application Outcome

We will inform you on whether you have been rejected or accepted to receive free legal advice. If accepted, we will refer your query to our partner law firms to take on your query. If you have been rejected, we will typically  provide you with alternative resources who may be able to help me.  You can also ask for these at an earlier stage. We aim to provide any support we are able to.

Once a law firms accepts your query we will connect you to them. The relevant lawyers will help your with your legal concern.
